Children of Dune plot

"Children of Dune" is the sequel to "Dune". The story grows and explains more about the myth surrounding the Atreides family. Twelve years have passed since Paul Maud'dib Atreides summoned the desert-dwelling Fremen to wage war against the last vestiges of the Old Empire. In those twelve years, all the planets were colonized one by one and placed under Maud'dib's command. Out of this chaos rose the House of Atreides as the great ruler on the arid planet Arrakis. But the Imperial regime is not all-powerful. The great enemy, Baron Harkonnen, is still trying to regain control of Dune and its mysterious life force
