Man of the House plot
"Protecting witnesses is a challenge. Living with them is impossible."
Texas Ranger Roland Sharp is assigned to protect the only witnesses in the trial against a drug lord. These witnesses turn out to be the cheerleaders of the University of Texas. To protect them, Sharp poses as the assistant coach of the cheerleading squad.

Nice movie and some jokes were fine.
There wasn't much action, but oh well, shooting non-stop isn't always necessary.
Acting was also good.

Somewhat annoying but at times still comical film about a grumpy Tommy Lee Jones who is sent on a mission to protect some cheerleaders. Reading a single sentence results in a film of up to 97 minutes, because you don't need much more for a comedy in America.
The acting is decent, but it is noticeable that no one really has a comedic motive. The only one who creates really nice scenes is Cedric the Entertainer. From his side, the best scenes come out, although these are downright scarce. His character is therefore hardly in the film, which makes it problematic that he does create the best comedy scenes.
Furthermore, it is the typical case of two generations meeting but not understanding each other. Only in the American way of course, which entails a lot of rude humor. Not that the film is completely stripped of subtlety, but in the end it should be clear that the comedy dominates. Until we get to the finale, where the action genre speaks a bit more.
In the end, it just never really comes out right. The comedy side sometimes yields fun moments, but the other genres fail as well as the memorable characters. For Jones, this is a very easy role, which actually only makes his presence a lot more boring. All in all a moderate event with short bright spots.
