The Mists of Avalon plot

'The Mists of Avalon' tells the story of the legend of King Arthur through the eyes of the women who at that time were associated with the mist-shrouded island of Avalon. King Ambrosius dies, but a brave man will follow in his footsteps. War reigns in Britain. The battle between Christianity and Paganism will endanger not only Cornwall and its environs, but also Avalon. The Saxons invade the land and are prepared to fight to the death. The Lady of Avalon, also the sister of Arthur's mother Igraine, wants to do everything to save her empire. Igraine is blessed with magical powers and along with her daughter Morgaine, she is the only hope of salvation.
