"She's shipwrecked on an island with the guy of her dreams. The last thing she wants is to be rescued."
Eighteen-year-old Jenny (Bynes) has a summer job in a tropical resort. Her favorite rock star Jason (Carmack) is staying at the resort and they both fall overboard during a cruise. Jenny is delirious with joy when she finds that they are stranded together on an otherwise deserted island. Jenny quickly realizes that they are actually stranded very close to the resort, but Jenny hides this from Jason so she will have a chance to win him over. Things get complicated when Jenny's arch-rival Alexis also claims to be stranded and they must compete for Jason's affections.

Predictable but definitely a fun movie. The plot isn't particularly well thought out, but it does have something. The locations were also beautiful.
Oh, what am I really nagging. Amanda Bynes alone makes the movie wonderful

In itself a film that looks good. I was really annoyed by Chris Carmack, didn't like him to play, maybe this is partly because I didn't like his character. The scene on stage I was hoping Alexis and Jenny would tell the whole truth together to put Jason in his place. Instead there was a scene that I thought was much less appropriate. Of course the film is predictable, the only plot twist that she already knows that they are not on a desert island is already in the description. Also a lot of 'mistakes' in the film. Jenny who, while she still thinks she is on a desert island, always wears dry/new clothes. The characters who, after they come out of the water, are immediately dry again. These are mistakes that should have been thought about more carefully. Partly because of these things I give the film no higher than a 2.5*. Nice to see once, but it won't stay with me.
