"Luis Buñuel's masterpiece"
A man who has just boarded the train, to the surprise of his fellow passengers, throws a bucket of water over a young woman on the platform. Once in his compartment, he explains to his fellow passengers why, and tells about his history with the woman, who turns out to be Conchita, and how he slowly became obsessed with her.

Quite a nice film by Luis Buñuel about an old(er) man who falls in love with the young Conchita and of course wants to do the same. However, Conchita is not ready for that so quickly. And so the misery begins for our friend. I found the film mainly entertaining and fun - the scenes with the bucket and the chastity pants will not be forgotten quickly. Very funny. Furthermore, you should not look too much behind this story. Of course it was nice that he came up with the idea to have Conchita played by two different women.

Nice movie about a man on a train who tells his fellow passengers why he just threw a bucket of water over a woman. An original story full of many small, interesting puzzle pieces, where the final puzzle will not be the same for everyone. Enough bizarre, but also funny moments. Just under 3.5 stars, mainly because the relationship between the man and the woman (the attraction and repulsion) is rather repetitive.
