During the Vietnam War, a group of soldiers is sent to a remote area, where one of their units has mysteriously disappeared. The soldiers manage to find the place quite easily, but after a while they begin to realize that they have no idea what they are doing. And when one by one they are startled by horrific visions, they have no idea how to protect themselves.
