Ukigumo plot
In November 1946 a group of Japanese returns from Indochina. Among them Yukiko, a woman who moved to the country for a job as a typist. Because of the quarrel she had with her family before leaving, she does not return home, but to her ex-colleague Kengo, with whom she once had an affair. However, Kengo appears to have changed and wants nothing more to do with her.
