El Mar plot

A number of children witness an execution by the fascists during the Spanish Civil War. In an ultimate attempt to take revenge, one of the children kills the son of one of the executioners. Ten years later, three children who survived the war meet again in a sanatorium. There they still seem to be quite at loggerheads with their traumas and feelings.
