"Las Vegas... where everybody plays a game! And these two play the oldest game on earth... with a new twist!"
On the train to Los Angeles, sophisticated Lloyd Rollins proposes to his wife Linda to spend a few days in her hometown of Las Vegas. Though reluctant because of her past, Linda agrees. Lloyd immediately starts gambling at the hotel's casino. Lloyd and Linda are unaware that they are followed from the train's departure by one Thomas Hubler, who watches Linda with interest. Meanwhile, Linda's embittered ex-lover and Police Lieutenant Dave Andrews learns that Linda is in town…
