Fur hunter 'Buffalo Skin' Gentry isn't exactly the type to marry, but when held at gunpoint, he can no longer avoid it. So he marries the attractive Mary Stuart Cherne. As far as he is concerned, however, the marriage is short-lived and he quickly breaks free. However, when Mary threatens to become the victim of a dangerous Indian tribe, Gentry realizes that she is the woman of his life.
