Interesting Franco, but boring and long-winded. The subject of sexual desires within sacred houses is a nice one and is here further thickened by putting Christianity on a par with Satanism, which climaxes in a ridiculous scene where the devil himself enters the scene. Love Letters of a Portuguese Nun is a somewhat more serious film by Franco, but it is not good.

Susan Hemingway and William Berger as a horny priest are the two plus points of the film. For the rest a very mediocre elaboration of an interesting story in itself where the Catholic religion is taken to task. The torture and sex scenes are not very impressive. The deflowering is even spun out too long-winded and boring, fortunately you can still enjoy the beautiful little things of the leading actress every now and then. 
A lot of chatter and despite the fact still worked out too well. 4/10
