Miami Golem plot

A Miami television reporter is sent to a local university to report on a professor who is cloning a DNA cell from a meteorite. Not long after the reporter leaves, a man kills everyone in the lab and steals the DNA cell for a wealthy businessman. When the reporter is told that he too must be killed, he enlists the help of two scientists to find out who committed the murders, why the DNA was stolen and whether the DNA should simply be destroyed.
