"This ain't no safari- it's a party"
Quasi-biographical film about the eccentric author Hunter S. Thompson (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) and his lawyer Oscar Acosta (who in this film is called Carl Lazlo). Thompson's love of drugs and alcohol goes hand in hand with his bizarre journalism style. He gives away his Super Bowl tickets and beats the game from his hotel room. Over the years, he keeps meeting the lawyer Lazlo, who is possibly even more insane than himself. The encounters become more and more bizarre.
