The Football Factory plot
"What Else You Gonna Do On A Saturday?"
Tommy Johnson is a young Londoner who finds himself leading a hopeless life. The only way to feel good is to drink, take drugs, pick up women and most importantly fight with hooligans from other clubs with his comrades - fanatic Chelsea fans. He lives only for the weekend and everything revolves around the brawls with the various sworn enemies. But a number of unexpected events and a couple of horrific nightmares and visions take the fun out of it. The atmosphere becomes grim and he gets the impression that terrible things are about to happen.

Lighthearted and entertaining. The film glorifies the subculture and does not have a moralizing effect. It also lacks a story, so that the film often jumps from one piece to the next with all kinds of side plots that add little. The only goal seems to be insight into the hooligan world, but that too never becomes in-depth. Still, the film manages to entertain thanks to sharp quick editing, a flashy pace, fun characters, and rather adolescent humor.
