Aloha, Bobby and Rose plot

"Bobby has a '68 Camaro. Rose has a five-year-old kid. On their first date, they become lovers and fugitives."

Auto mechanic Bobby and young Rose fall in love and spend the night together. Later that night, when Bobby jokingly pretends to be a mugger when buying a bottle of wine; things get out of hand and the man behind the cash register is fatally hit; after which Bobby and Rose flee south in panic. During their flight, they meet the likeable Buford; which is a lot of fun in the first place.
