The ending to the Kharis series isn't too good either.
It's still entertaining at first. Especially with the workers who all represent different characters with different (exaggerated) accents (Mexican, Italian, etc.). In particular, the character played by Napoleon Simpson is a bit on the racist side. In America at the time, this could still be done with impunity.
However, when the mummy starts walking again, the film becomes a repetition of the previous films. He again goes after his beloved princess Ananka on behalf of a priest. It is again about a kind of reincarnation who does not know that she is the princess. We are even treated to the history of the two characters again (how they were buried, etc.).
It is easy to watch (lasts about 60 minutes), but again I cannot call it a winner.
Perhaps interesting for die hard Universal lovers, but this 'series' was actually already done after the first, original The Mummy (1932) . As far as I'm concerned, the 'sequels' don't add much.
