The Revenge of Frankenstein plot
"The Terror Rises Again."
Baron Frankenstein narrowly escapes the death penalty and flees to Germany. Under the name Dr. Stein he starts again with his morbid experiments. But this has terrible consequences. It doesn't take long for blood to flow.

Almost 60 years old, yet somehow it doesn't feel dated. Besides, you wouldn't know any better with these films. They're all so similar in terms of setting that a change might not even appeal to fans of "our" Dr. Franken(stein).
This film was a nice ending to yesterday's viewing and we had a great time with it.
It will probably be a bit too slow for the 'modern' horror fan, as Richard_Voorhees notes below, although in my (and probably his) opinion, they will miss a beautiful piece of film.

Nice version where the monster initially looks quite normal.
Cushing plays Frankenstein very well and for the rest the story is interesting enough with a fairly surprising ending.

This sequel to Curse of Frankenstein is a fine film. Thanks to the wonderful Peter Cushing, who plays Doctor Frankenstein. The script offers plenty of variety, and the sets, as usual with Hammer, are eye-catching. This is vintage Hammer, and I can't fault it. On to the next Hammer.
