Quite a long film in which Garfield plays a blind Marine who no longer wants to face his loved one and family because he is too proud and does not want to be a burden to them.
Garfield plays his role well and there is quite a long run of introducing the characters before getting to the main plot.
How the two meet is a bit un-Hollywood, but it is a funny and different way of a romance developing.
