"...is the story of the love that changed the world forever!"
Early 20th century, Moscow. Tsar Nicholas II has problems with the war with Japan, which seems unwinnable. His joy at the birth of his first son is overshadowed by the discovery that the boy has hemophilia. His wife is very much influenced by Rasputin, who claims to have healing powers. The people want a Duma and don't believe their tsar wants to do anything. The mounting problems lead to a world war and a popular uprising.
