At the urging of his friend, Father Mariano, the car dealer Alfonso, an inveterate bachelor in his early forties, has married the handsome, virtuous Regina. Her family eagerly awaits offspring. But failing that, the couple's love life must be cranked up. Alfonso is already showing the first signs of exhaustion.
