A Stitch in Time plot
When a mugger enters Mr. Grimsdale, his assistant, Norman Pitkin, gives the tip to hide his valuable gold watch in his mouth. However, he swallows the watch and has to go to the hospital for emergency care. Norman tries to help everywhere, but it keeps getting messed up. Except when he meets Lindy, a girl in the pediatric ward who has been in shock since her parents' accidental death. Lindy responds positively to Norman and he promises her to come back. But the director of the hospital is so angry about what Norman has been up to that he forbids Norman to set foot in the hospital. Norman wants to keep his promise and looks for ways to get into the hospital.
