Zigzag plot

"Getting in was easy. Getting out was murder."

A seriously ill, dying man turns himself in for a murder of an industrialist he didn't commit. This in order not to leave his wife and daughter in need of money after his death. After all, he reaps a hefty reward because he gives a tip about who the perpetrator is. However, his plan goes a bit wrong when he is healed.
