Beautifully made drama with Jon Bon Jovi, made in combination with Jon's album Destination Anywhere. The main characters seem to have run away from the Bon Jovi world. A couple reminiscent of Tommy and Gina, still in difficult times and now with heavy themes to deal with.

The film exudes a pleasant atmosphere in which the fringe of society is beautifully portrayed. The particularly strong camera week takes us from dilapidated apartments to bustling nightclubs, while songs from the album Destination Anywhere support a story of loss, trial and error, and escapism.

The story is very tragic and that is remarkable, because musically Bon Jovi is usually an optimist. In the mid 90's his theme became heavier and this period seems to be a low point of this. The events in this film are exceptionally heavy compared to Bon Jovi's usual 80's and 2000's theme.

I may be biased as a fan, but this is a strong drama, beautifully shot with many creative shots, which regularly gives the film a nice dreamy feel. And Demi Moore's acting alone would deserve this score. She plays wonderfully in this film.

4*
