"Two Mismatched Partners. One Messed Up Case!"
When a Harvard graduate CIA agent is murdered on a job, the CIA hires his twin brother (Chris Rock), who is a kid from the street. The CIA wants him to finish the project his brother started. But since the brother has no experience at all, an experienced agent (Anthony Hopkins) is hired to train him to become a 'real' CIA agent.

Busy.
Maybe as a snack for some people, but it doesn't really make you happy. Bad Company is busy, the clichés pile up and this is not my thing in terms of humor either. With a playing time that is about 20 minutes too long, it quickly becomes difficult to deliver a good film.
Anthony Hopkins in an action comedy with Chris Rock: it's something different. And that's all, because an actor of the Hopkins level should not get caught up in such nonsense. Unfortunately, Hopkins would make that mistake even more later.
Audiovisually, this is also just a busy affair. It will all be hip and fast, but does that make a film good? No, mediocre. Nipped.

Bad Company
A lot of action and busy bullshit from Chris Rock, but that cannot disguise the fact that Bad Company has a very bad and predictable script. The film aims to be exciting and humorous, but succeeds in neither. Why Hopkins is in this is a mystery to me, but hopefully he will be happy with his payslip. The action is well done and Rock is certainly not bad. He's no Eddie Murphy (in his prime), but he makes sure that Bad Company is still worthy of the spotlight.
