Jackass 2.5 plot

"All the stuff we couldn't pack into number two."

Johnny Knoxville and his team use the concept of the MTV show 'Jackass': a bunch of dudes do dangerous and horrific stunts just to see what will happen. In this part, among other things, a scene from the film King Kong is re-enacted using a chemical toilet and one visits a dangerous tribe in India. Wee Man also fights as a matador.

Funny.

Jackass is of such a nature that you can easily make an extra film from some extra bonus material. You won't find a plot or even a common thread in the film, just as easily.

This 2.5 is therefore not much more than outtakes and small interviews, smoothly put together. The characters are familiar, the humor is what it is, so anyone who didn't appreciate previous films/series doesn't even have to try it.

As far as I'm concerned, there's a certain crassness to Jackass that I can appreciate, so this movie wasn't too bad either. Sometimes there is a bit too much build-up compared to the actual stunt and an hour is quite short, but they are still very nice snacks. Apparently there is also a 3.5, we'll have to check it out soon.

3.0*

Very mediocre. That first part with a parody of King Kong is just a lot of fun nonsense, the rest is of questionable quality. Lots of pain and poop and pee, which is probably fun while drunk, but nothing else. Mediocre sketches alternated with some interviews to barely reach the hour mark. 1.0*.

An hour of extra material and fairly meaningless interviews. The fact that these types of films are being made may indicate that the makers are quite bored with everyday life. The truly outrageous and hilarious stunts are also not present here, they are all skilfully edited into the "main film". What remains then is a series of vomit, genitals and guff. It doesn't really get fun anywhere and outside of some special scenes there is little experience. I used to be able to laugh a lot at these kinds of films, but in this case I lost it. Extra points because there are still some spontaneous moments and/or stunts that are genuinely impressive.
