"When you need him, he's always there!"
Half-blood ex-serviceman Billy Jack is increasingly drawn to the Native American side of his existence. He becomes more and more annoyed by the white way of life. His first act of improving the world is saving wild horses that were in danger of ending up as dog food. Billy Jack's behavior gets him increasingly in trouble with the authorities, especially when he tries to keep a hippie school open.
