"An abducted child... a scared community... an unlikely hero."

Samantha Hallahan and her eight-year-old son Buddy have started a new life in a quiet village surrounded by mountains. Sam runs a small shop and is very happy with it. When she also gets to know the charming local police officer Peter Barnes, her life seems complete. But then her son is unexpectedly kidnapped.
