By order of Emperor Valentius, General Aetius concludes a peace pact with the Hun king Bleda. But Bleda's power-hungry brother Attila doesn't want to dance to the tune of Rome. He ambush and kills his brother and his entourage. Now no one can stop him from setting Rome on fire. He receives unexpected help in his plans from Honoria, the emperor's sister. She offers herself to Attila as his future wife, only to overthrow her hated stepbrother if Attila succeeds. But Attila only trusts his sword.
