A mediocre film about a couple of criminals who buy a bank in Switzerland to launder money. Quite a few (far-fetched) developments follow, but it's never truly captivating or funny. There are, however, plenty of beautiful locations and a fair number of familiar faces.

It's just going well.

A farcical crime film that's just a tad too tame. That tameness isn't a major drawback, as it's quite funny, and Michael Caine, with his dry cockney accent, is a great choice. Wonderfully nonchalantly charismatic, that man. Otherwise, the film doesn't really offer much. A twist here and there should provide some sharp edges, but ultimately, it's just a rather bland sideshow—though it has its moments.

2.5
