Ana y los Otros plot

After years of absence, 25-year-old Ana from Buenos Aires returns to her hometown. She is looking for her past, but once she arrives she discovers that there is not much left of it: just a few old friends and some insignificant images. She walks the streets and along the river on a hot summer's day, seeking places that were once so familiar. She feels both at home and a stranger. In the local newspaper she sees a photo taken by her ex-boyfriend Mariano. She inquires about him with all the old friends and classmates she meets. Other than that, she really has nothing more to say to these people. She discovers that Mariano lives in Victoria, a small town nearby. Ana decides to rent a car and embark on a new journey.
