After her husband's murder, Rose Bianco (Loren) works long hours making artificial flowers to support her son and herself. Some people accuse Rose that it is her fault that her husband ended up in the criminal environment and blame her for his death. Widower Frank Vente (Quinn) feels something for Rose and tries to convince her that true love exists.
