Kazan plot

Paul Weyman (Fahey) is a zoologist appointed by the Canadian government to study wolves in Canada's northern mountain ranges. During his journey, he discovers a deceased forester and a heroic wolf who watches over him. He takes the wolf and meets Jo (Duez). She and her husband, in turn, take the wolf on a journey, but during the trip they encounter the ranger's killer. This thief, named McReady, tries to rob Jo and her husband.
