The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer plot
The newlywed marriage between Ellen and the wealthy oil baron John Rimbauer is already badly damaged during honeymoon. When they return home, the couple moves into the Rose Red mansion. Unfortunately, Ellen is not really happy in their new home. John doesn't take it too seriously and Ellen realizes that she has entered a marriage of convenience. When she becomes pregnant with their first child, something happens that changes life on Rose Red forever. John's mistress disappears without a trace right before Ellen's eyes. John's other bed partners also disappear without a trace and it seems as if Rose Red is trying to lend a hand to her favorite resident.
