The Darkling plot
"Be Careful What You Wish For..."
Auto mechanic Jeff Obold lives in a small caravan with his wife and his seven-year-old daughter. One evening he meets Bruno and their common love for cars creates a bond between the two men. When Jeff and his wife receive an invitation to a mysterious party at Bruno's house, they decide to go. There Jeff first encounters 'the Darkling', a caged creature who can make any wish come true; whether it be wealth, luck or fame. When Jeff starts using 'the Darkling' he finds out that he has to pay a very high price to make his dreams come true.
