Heart plot

Maria has lost her son in a traffic accident. After some hesitation, she releases the dead man's heart for a transplant. The recipient is a man named Gary, a businessman from Liverpool, who feels reborn and regains a sense of love and life. But he becomes fascinated by the origin of his new heart. After a long search, he finds Maria on her trail. An obsessive relationship grows between the two.
