"Bobby Taylor was on his way to becoming a star, when a funny thing happened..."
Bobby Taylor is an ambitious black actor who can handle all roles from Hamlet to Sam Spade. Unfortunately, at the moment Hollywood is only looking for gangsters, slaves and 'the new Eddie Murphy', so Bobby barely gets a job. He then comes up with a plan with which he can convince the studio bosses that he can do more than just act tough and swear.
