Well, Renée Soutdijk was often a pleasure to watch in Dutch films in the 1980s (she also took off her clothes as standard). After she gave up on this a bit, she also tried to start a career in America and this film had to provide the breakthrough. Unfortunately, it has become a breakthrough, but she has more or less been sawn through with this film. Rightly so, because the story is very little (more or less a female Terminator version, but a very sad version) and Renée Soutendijk plays poorly, to say the least. The same also applies to flut actor Gregory Hines. What a combination too Renée Soutendijk and Gregory Hines The film never manages to fascinate, let alone that it gets exciting somewhere. The performance is also quite sad and that is partly due to Renée Soutendijk who can barely speak decent English.

If Paul Verhoeven would have given her the role of Sharon Stone in the film Basic Instinct a year later, I would have liked to see it again with the career of Renée Soutendijk in America because that role would also have been perfect for her (Sharon Stone did it's great in that movie by the way).
