Moontrap plot
"14,000 Years It Has Waited For Us"
During a routine flight, astronauts Jason Brant and Ray Tanner encounter an alien spaceship. Upon further investigation, they find a red capsule and a mummified corpse. They take both finds back to Earth. When examined, the capsule is revealed to have the ability to transform itself into a monstrous robot with the sole purpose of killing, using available materials. They are sent back to the moon to analyze the monster's provenance. An unpleasant surprise awaits them there...
