My Best Girl plot
Joe Merrill is the son of a wealthy store owner. He poses as Joe Grant and goes to work in one of the warehouses of his father's chain of stores. With this he wants to prove that he can also be successful without his father's help. He meets Maggie Johnson at the warehouse and falls in love. Trouble comes when Joe's mother wants Millicent Rogers, a high society woman as a bride.
