Le Bal Masqué plot

At a gas station, a couple is brutally murdered and robbed of a number of documents. Police inspector Daerden drives to the scene of the accident. He is also knocked down but is able to launch an investigation that same night. Unwittingly, he steps into a web of political intrigue, corruption and blackmail. Le Bal Masqué is inspired by a series of murders that startled Belgium in the 1980s by the Gang of Nivelles.
