For Dutch standards a good, erotically charged thriller. The film is very similar to Sliver (almost an exact copy), but screenwriter Jean van de Velde claims that he finished the screenplay before his American competitor Ira Levin. Although the tense moments are predictable When Erik's upstairs neighbor turns out to have an alibi for Erik because he has been typing, the first thing that came to mind was: It must have been a tape. They try to change your mind afterwards, but then you already know enough and that Victor Löw acts somewhat unnaturally, the film is definitely worth watching. Soutendijk acts very well and everything is done to make you switch your mind all the time because of the killer, and sometimes it worked, but most of the time it backfired for me. Still, it's definitely a good movie. 3*
