The Beloved Rogue plot
Francois Villon is a poet-adventurer. Although his works are widely read, writing does not earn him enough to pay the bills. That is why Villon is also involved in some minor criminal cases. One day, he collides with King Louis XI and is banished from Paris, a punishment worse than death for Villon. He therefore returns to Paris and falls for the beautiful Charlotte who is a big fan of his poems. However, Charlotte is about to marry the Duke of Burgundy as part of an ingenious plan of his to take Paris. It's up to Villon to come to the rescue of the king.
