A fun film that seems unjustly forgotten.

Weisz and Lynch take turns pulling the cart, and do it very well - and those dresses suit them both very well, which helps too. And I already knew that Weisz can be very nice, but Lynch is just as good - I'll have to see if I can find some more films of her.

And then there's that dog, what a cute animal.

In terms of style, the film clearly follows the trend that you had in the UK at that time, with Guy Richie as the clearest example. But Eagles keeps it just a tad more subtle, and that is clearly better. Too bad that after this film he seems to have ended up mainly in TV productions and series, because it is clear that he can do more.
