Le Pacte du Silence plot
A young nun (Élodie Bouchez) is admitted to a hospital with extreme pain. The examining doctor (Gérard Depardieu) is unable to make a correct diagnosis. The nun's twin sister lives in Brazil and experiences the same pains. The twins hide a great occult secret and obsessed with the mysterious illness, the doctor goes halfway around the world in search of her sister and the truth behind the secret forces. Slowly but surely he threatens to become a victim himself.
