Reasonable film about two American football players who share a room on the road. Based on a true story. The friendship between the two men of a different race is well presented here. Despite the short playing time, it sometimes sinks a bit and towards the end it becomes too melodramatic. James Caan and Billy Dee Williams are both doing well.

Quite short but in my opinion quite long. Visually there is really nothing to experience here and the acting, by good actors, is still a bit theatrical. The film tells a nice story but never really comes to life. If Sayers has to say at the end that Caan will probably never be able to play again, then there is still a bit of emotion, but that is a rare piece, 2.5*
