Quite an 'empty' film. You're constantly waiting for a bit of action, but not much happens. The film is not really bad, but just annoying because nothing actually happens... 1.5*

Tart's marketing looks daring, so interested viewers should know that the whole thing is only about a bunch of down-and-out and spoiled brats. Miraculously, director Christina Wayne aims to gain a certain sympathy from the viewer, but that is quite difficult with these nonsensical characters. Dominique Swain continues to act like a newspaper and the secondary characters are regularly hampered by messy writing. Caricature after caricature is introduced and the problems continue to pile up, but at no point does Swain's character seem to realize that she herself may be the main problem. Some humorous scenes in between to spice things up and Mischa Barton still does an okay job, but as a viewer I can only applaud the fact that this kind of nonsense is increasingly finding its way into the big screens.
