Boy, what scathing reviews of this film here and there above. I thought it was a comical and at times even moving film. Beautifully acted, smoothly and humorously developed with sparkling dialogues. I enjoyed it, I even think it is one of the better "Tigers" I have seen in Rotterdam in recent years.

After an hour or so of difficult hassle and relationship whining, Kaat comes up with the text "I'm just doing something". That also seems to sum up the screenwriter's attitude. There's very little I can do with this film.

I actually think this film is a 3.5, but I'm just giving it 4 stars because of the 1 star whining from some here.
Nice movie with good dialogues and acting. Reminds me a bit of the worst person in the world but here we have three. By the way, I like this one better because there is also some laughter.
Furthermore, I have not seen much of Leopold, I am usually not a fan of films in which little is said. Her style is fresh and it never gets boring. There are some beautiful scenes at the bakery and the scene in that kind of museum zoo-like scene with the skeletons on the ceiling is nicely done.
In short, another winner from the no more heroes box. That was a fine generation of filmmakers that emerged then.
