Don't panic people, for the majority of humanity this is simply one of the failed Fulci projects that you can safely skip. Egyptian curse, you've seen it all before. Still, the film is messy, but it is full of insane scenes that only Fulci can imagine. The scene in the elevator for example, I mean Dick Maas really can't handle that. Everyone just disappears a bit and sometimes we forgot that somewhere in a plot hole, then suddenly there is a box of sand in the bedroom again. I have a soft spot for it, just like I do for bad English dubs, especially with those kids, my god that brother!!

Disappointing Fulci film where the story is presented to the viewer quite chaotically. The story jumps from chapter to chapter. However, the opening in Egypt is attractively and beautifully depicted. The ending with the attack of the stuffed birds was also worth seeing in terms of gore. But unfortunately it remains with those few positive points. No tension at all and in terms of gore it is disappointing.
The story and the characters fail to fascinate. 4/10

From minute 1 it is a series of supernatural things. You don't get time to get to know the characters, not in the beginning and not in the sequel. It's just an accumulation of scenes. However, without build-up, there is no tension. It is therefore difficult to judge the acting performances taking into account such a scenario that they are presented with. Then they didn't do so bad actually.

A film of its time and there are some references to bigger guns. The Exorcist is still lurking around the corner... it's also the time of Poltergeist... and the babysitter Jamie Lee is a heavy nod to Jamie Lee Curtis who played the babysitter in Halloween. And The Birds are also involved.

I thought Fabio Frizzi's score was very good. All in all it was an entertaining movie for once.
