A relatively ridiculous film that only manages to amusingly capture the autumnal atmosphere, but that's about it. Honeyspider is overflowing with strange ideas that don't connect at all, making the climax a rather dubious one. It's all a rather forced attempt at something original, but director Josh Hasty delivers a confusing and, above all, dull film. Mariah Brown is unfortunately unconvincing in the lead role, and the humorous cinematic setting is abandoned far too quickly, ending with a half-baked and poorly shot finale. It's understandable that this film lacks the necessary popularity.
