My Blue Heaven plot

After Indonesia became independent, many Indonesians migrate to the Netherlands. The Benoit family decides to open an Indian restaurant. The Indonesians are not that popular with the Dutch; they think they are stupid and lazy. At first, the opening of the restaurant is laughed at. When it turns out that the restaurant is starting to attract customers and the local snack bar is in danger of losing customers, they become more hostile. To make matters worse, the snack bar owner's son falls in love with the restaurant owner's Indonesian daughter.
